Engineering & Construction
We offer a full range of engineering design and drafting services for Generation, Power Lines, Substations and Industrial Power Systems including Primary layout, Civil, SCADA/Telecom, and Protection and Control.
Our engineering team will also complete power system studies, ground grid and arc flash studies to ensure your electrical system is designed to optimal safety standards.
Our Construction team is highly experienced in all aspect of substation and overhead line construction including catenary systems for light rail transit. Our team develops rigorous execution plans and follows strict safety protocols when working within both brown or green field facilities.
Our Construction Services include construction management and implementation of both reliability standards and distributed energy technologies. Our in- house construction activities include civil work, ground grid installations, HV apparatus, cables and cable systems, buswork, assembly of structures & modifications and installation of control buildings.
Project Management
We believe in delivering high quality projects on time and on budget. We do this with our exceptional project management services which include certified project managers experienced in the electrical industry.
Our project controls team develops easy to understand reports for both our customers and project managers to monitor progress and keep the project in line with expectations.
Commissioning and Maintenance
Our staff are experienced in testing, commissioning and maintaining HV power systems, HV apparatus, relays and control schemes in voltages up to 500 kV.
In addition, Firefly specializes in creating maintenance plans tailored to minimize interruptions to production goals in order to increase the service life of your power equipment
